Working Foreman – High-End Residential Joinery & Carpentry

An established and highly regarded bespoke interiors and construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Working Foreman to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong joinery and carpentry background to oversee the delivery of prestigious high-end residential projects.

The successful candidate will initially be based on a luxury residential development in the Woking area, before moving onto future projects across Surrey and the surrounding counties.

The Role

As a Working Foreman, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site activities while remaining hands-on when required.

You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the exceptional standards expected on high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating trades and subcontractors on site.
  • Carrying out high-quality carpentry and joinery work where required.
  • Managing daily site operations to ensure programmes are met.
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the project.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Liaising with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors.
  • Organising materials, deliveries and site logistics.
  • Resolving on-site issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Leading by example and maintaining a productive working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Working Foreman within the construction industry.
  • Strong background in joinery and carpentry.
  • Experience delivering high-end residential projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence.
