My Client are a leading Contractor in Essex, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure works. They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England.
They are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team, working across projects in Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk. The candidate will operate across multiple sites. The Contracts Manager will oversee and manage contracts for multiple civil and groundworks projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to foster strong relationships and drive project success.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and extensive hands-on experience within the Civil Engineering and Groundworks sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including H&S, on-site operations, producing and ensuring that programme targets are achieved, production of RAMS for site specific operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management.
- Good man management and communication skills with an eye for detail is an essential aspect of this role.
