Senior Quantity Surveyor - Design & Build Construction Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience) Location: Office-based with regular site visits Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent An established and highly respected design and build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The company provides a complete in-house service from design through to construction, working across a diverse range of sectors. This role will suit a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a Managing Surveyor position, or an experienced Managing Surveyor seeking a new challenge within a growing business. You will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance and successful project delivery. Oversee the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects. Administer subcontract accounts, variations and final accounts. Identify and mitigate commercial risks. Work closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability. Provide commercial guidance and mentoring to junior surveyors where required. Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager. Background within commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out or design & build projects. Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and commercial software. Full UK Driving Licence. Salary of £80,000 - £100,000 , depending on experience.
