Job Description
Site Manager – Prime Residential
Location: Central London
My client, a highly respected and well-established main contractor, has been delivering prime residential projects across Central London for over 40 years. Specialising in the high-end alteration and refurbishment of luxury private homes, they are known for their exceptional standards, professional approach, and strong relationships with longstanding clients.
With a reputation for quality and integrity in the super-prime market, this contractor has grown steadily and sustainably, maintaining a loyal client base and a close-knit team culture. Many of their staff have been with the business long-term, and the company places a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, personal development, and job satisfaction.
Their projects, typically located in areas such as Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, Mayfair and Belgravia, involve complex structural alterations, basement excavations and full internal refurbishments, with contract values ranging up to £15m. The majority of their work is negotiated rather than competitively tendered, reflecting the trust they’ve built within this specialist market.
They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of upcoming projects in Central London. This is a key role within the business, offering real progression opportunities in line with the company’s future growth.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrable experience managing high-end residential projects in Central London
- Background in carpentry or another trade, with a strong technical understanding
- Proven ability to manage complex refurbishment schemes, including structural work and basements
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to quality and detail, in line with the expectations of the super-prime market
- A long-term mindset – looking for a stable, rewarding career, not just the next job
What’s on offer:
- Opportunity to manage landmark residential projects in London’s most prestigious areas
- A supportive and well-structured team environment with clear career development paths
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The chance to be part of a business that truly values its people and has virtually zero staff turnover
This is a permanent position, ideally suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is keen to be part of a professional, ambitious and growing company in the luxury residential sector.
