Senior Project Manager – High End Fit Out/Joinery
Location: London
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and deliver a landmark fit-out project for a dynamic and innovative specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor.
The Role:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in new build and fit-out projects, along with a third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in a similar Project Management role. You will be commercially astute, with excellent leadership, people management, and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure resources are in place to meet deadlines.
- Establish and manage project budgets, delivering within financial targets.
- Ensure all work meets client specifications and quality standards, including implementation of Control Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage all project resources effectively, including staff, labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Set clear targets, reporting procedures, and monitor team and stakeholder performance.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met and maintain accurate project records.
- Implement and uphold company Operations and Safety Management Procedures.
- Undertake other responsibilities as required by senior management.
