Planner or Assistant Planner - Construction
My client are looking for a Construction Planner or ambitious Assistant Planner to join our team, supporting projects across London and the South of England.
*Living in a commutable distance to their Hampshire HQ, is essential*
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction programmes.
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays, and opportunities.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors to ensure programmes remain accurate and achievable.
- Produce progress reports and programme updates for key stakeholders.
- Support tender and pre-construction planning activities.
- Assist with programme analysis and sequencing of works.
About You
We are keen to hear from both experienced Planners and Assistant Planners with construction sector experience.
You will have
- Previous experience in a Planner or Assistant Planner position within construction.
- Knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site and office teams.
- A willingness to travel to sites across London and the South.
- Experience of working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
Desirable
- A basic understanding of façade construction and related works.
