An established and highly respected bespoke joinery manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious high-end residential projects, managing bespoke joinery packages from design through to installation and handover.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple bespoke joinery projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing bespoke joinery projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, designers and main contractors.
  • Producing and managing project programmes.
  • Chairing and attending project and site meetings.
  • Carrying out site surveys and regular site inspections.
  • Working closely with the in-house design, drawing and production teams.
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, budgets and programme.
  • Managing project variations and associated costs.
  • Preparing monthly valuations and payment applications.
  • Monitoring project cash flow and financial performance.
  • Producing RAMS and O&M manuals.
  • Managing snagging, practical completion and final client handover.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

  • At least 5 years' experience managing bespoke joinery or high-end residential joinery projects.
  • Strong knowledge of bespoke joinery manufacturing processes and installation.
  • Experience working with high-end residential projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and variations.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills and experience using project management software.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to build strong client relationships.
