Buying Manager / Procurement Manager - Construction - Roofing / Cladding projects The Company My client are a specialist contractor delivering high-quality external envelope solutions, including fa ade systems, roofing, structural framing and cladding packages, across a diverse range of construction projects.
The Role - Buying Manager My client are looking for an experienced Buying / Procurement Manager, with previous experience managing a team.
You will be commercially aware and a proficient negotiator.
Ensuring that all materials are purchased at the best price and are delivered on time so that projects continue without interruption.
You will be responsible for Managing a team of 3 Buyers, across Cladding and Roofing projects.
The daily duties include: Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment Ensuring purchases offer best value Monitoring and reporting of price increases, updating internal spread sheets.
Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries Arranging the return of non-conforming products Maintaining and developing the supply chain to the companies ISO standards Processing of purchase ledger records *Roofing, cladding and construction experience preferred but not essential.
