Project Manager – Specialist Joinery & Fit-Out Location: Suffolk, London & Various Site Locations Salary: Competitive + Package We are recruiting on behalf of a leading bespoke joinery and interior fit-out contractor who delivers high-end projects across the commercial, residential and specialist interiors sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in bespoke joinery, architectural joinery, fit-out or interior construction to oversee projects from contract award through to practical completion. This is a hands-on role requiring close coordination between design, manufacturing and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the exceptional quality standards expected within the high-end joinery sector. The Role: * Take full responsibility for the delivery of one or more joinery and fit-out projects. * Manage projects from pre-construction, procurement and design through to installation and final handover. * Develop, monitor and update detailed project programmes. * Coordinate internal design, drawing office, production and commercial teams. * Manage Site Managers, subcontractors and specialist installation teams. * Lead regular project review meetings and monitor progress against programme. * Liaise with clients, main contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. * Manage variations, change control and programme implications. * Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with quality, environmental and Health & Safety standards. * Oversee manufacturing progress and coordinate site deliveries to meet programme requirements. * Drive successful project outcomes whilst maintaining excellent client relationships. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within bespoke joinery, architectural joinery, interior fit-out or a related construction sector. * Strong understanding of the joinery manufacturing and installation process. * Experience managing high-value joinery or fit-out packages on construction projects. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction programmes. * Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, designers and subcontractors. * Commercial awareness with experience managing variations and project costs. * Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work to demanding deadlines.
