We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join a leading specialist contractor operating within the luxury interior fit out and prime residential construction sector. Our client has an excellent reputation for delivering high end retail, prime residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across London. This permanent position will be based on a flagship luxury retail project in Central London, where you will report directly into the Project Manager on site and oversee all MEP delivery across the scheme.
As the MEP Manager, you will take responsibility for coordinating and managing all mechanical, electrical, and public health packages throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a mechanically biased individual with strong electrical knowledge and experience delivering high end fit out or prime residential projects. Working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams, you will ensure all MEP works are delivered safely, on programme, and to exceptionally high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all MEP works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover.
- Report into the Project Manager and support overall programme delivery.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submissions.
- Lead MEP coordination meetings and resolve technical issues on site.
- Monitor progress, commissioning, snagging, and final handover processes.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and project standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong mechanical bias with good electrical knowledge and coordination experience.
- Previous flagship project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical understanding of MEP services and commissioning processes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and subcontractor management skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant health & safety qualifications required.
- Relevant engineering or building services qualification preferred.
