My Client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor and a leading player in the UK construction market, forming part of a wider international group. They have a solid reputation on the international stage, ranking among the Top 10 global construction businesses.

My Client are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the Building Services team on a new build, state-of-the-art healthcare, research, and education facility project. The role involves supervising and coordinating electrical works, ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met, and supporting the design and installation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems. This role is a 6 month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the building services team and project managers to develop detailed electrical plans and schedules.
  • Conduct site surveys and assess programme activities, equipment, and material requirements.
  • Supervise and monitor M&E subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
  • Support design and layout of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including reporting and presentations.
  • Promote continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in construction, with fit-out experience.
  • Knowledge of snagging software such as Dalux, Field View, or similar.
  • Experience with main contractors or electrical sub-contractors.
  • Strong people management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of coordination, quality assurance, and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Safety-conscious, with a thorough understanding of electrical safety regulations.
  • Strong time management and project planning skills.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
