My client is part of an established construction group. They offer a turnkey service, managing projects from design optimisation through to installation, ensuring fire safety compliance and exceptional craftsmanship. The group places a very strong emphasis on individual development within the company, which has led to a low staff turnover. HQ is based in Essex, with a satellite office in London.
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a competitive, strategic Business Development Manager to help the growing construction business unlock and expand its presence.
- Identify, develop and progress new business opportunities through proactive relationship building and market engagement.
- Own the full business development lifecycle, from initial contact and networking through to converting meetings into qualified opportunities and secured contracts.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients, partners and key industry contacts, maintaining a credible and trusted presence in the market.
- Represent the business professionally at meetings, networking events and industry forums.
Hybrid Working Pattern:
- Monday – Essex (BD catch-ups, internal meetings, afternoon brainstorming sessions)
- Tuesday–Thursday – London (client meetings & on-the-ground BD activity)
- Friday – Flexible (London / Essex / home depending on meetings)
