The Role - Junior Finance Manager

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly wages for self-employed and limited company subcontractors under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
  • Maintain records of CIS payments and subcontractor details.
  • Support in preparing basic P&L (profit & loss) reports to help management understand profitability.
  • Review and reconcile company credit card transactions against ledger records.
  • Process and verify payment notifications from main contractors.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing.
  • Ensure adherence to HMRC regulations, CIS compliance, and company financial policies.

Practical experience in construction finance is essential.
