An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site / Project Manager to join a well-established specialist contractor on a major data centre project in Hayes, West London. This is a long-term freelance opportunity overseeing the delivery of a substantial package of multi-trade works on a high-profile data centre development. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating multiple trades.
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
- Monitoring quality, health & safety and overall project performance.
- Attending site meetings and providing progress updates.
- Managing project documentation through client portals and digital platforms.
- Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain programme targets.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing construction projects and ideally possess knowledge of several of the following disciplines:
- Drylining
- Decorations
- Raised Access Flooring
- Tiling
- Joinery
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager or Project Manager on commercial construction projects.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good level of IT competency, with experience using online project management systems, client portals and construction apps.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and subcontractors simultaneously.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.
