Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Small Works & Electrical

An established high end residential contractor is seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to oversee a range of small works and electrical projects.

This is a broad position covering both commercial and potentially some project management responsibilities, suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership from pricing through to completion. You’ll manage projects end to end — pricing, procuring, and delivering with the support of site teams.

This is a role very much in the mould of the traditional surveyor/manager.

Projects typically range from £50k to £5m, including refurbishments, fit- outs, and electrical packages (for their small in house electrical team), all with a focus on prime residential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Price and manage multiple small works and electrical projects (£50k–£5m).
  • Oversee procurement, delivery, to final account.
  • Coordinate with the company’s in-house electrical team.
  • Manage subcontractors, materials, and client communication.
  • Undertake both estimating and surveying duties as required.

Ideal Background

  • Experience within high end / prime residential construction in the UK market is essential.
  • A mix of estimating, commercial, and project delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical packages advantageous.
  • Comfortable managing several small projects concurrently.

Salary & Benefits

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
