Job Description
Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Small Works & Electrical
London | £60k–£80k + Package
An established high end residential contractor is seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to to oversee a range of small works and electrical projects.
This is a broad position covering both commercial and potentially some project management responsibilities, suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership from pricing through to completion. You’ll manage projects end to end — pricing, procuring, and delivering with the support of site teams.
This is a role very much in the mould of the traditional surveyor/manager.
Projects typically range from £50k to £5m, including refurbishments, fit- outs, and electrical packages (for their small in house electrical team), all with a focus on prime residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Price and manage multiple small works and electrical projects (£50k–£5m).
- Oversee procurement, delivery, to final account.
- Coordinate with the company’s in-house electrical team.
- Manage subcontractors, materials, and client communication.
- Undertake both estimating and surveying duties as required.
Ideal Background:
- Experience within high end / prime residential construction in the UK market is essential.
- A mix of estimating, commercial, and project delivery experience.
- Knowledge of electrical packages advantageous.
- Comfortable managing several small projects concurrently.
Salary & Benefits:
- £60k–£70k (depending on experience)
- Pension (5% employer / 3% employee)
- Healthcare after 6 months
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
