My client are a Specialist Facade Contractor. They have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health. HQ based in Buckinghamshire. Hybrid working model available, with x1 day in the office.
My client are looking for experienced Designers, who can hit the ground running at intermediate or senior level. You’ll need solid knowledge of rainscreen and glazing systems and the ability to communicate technical details confidently.
Reporting into the Design Manager, you will:
- Provide sketches and general design input for tenders
- Attend design meetings & action tasks following meetings within the timescales agreed
- Produce drawings for rainscreen cladding elevations, details and subframe drawings
- Produce drawings and schedules for curtainwall, glazing and doors
- Schedule materials for order
- Track drawing submissions
- Upload project drawings to associated document portal
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and façade engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Hybrid working arrangements available (office, home, site)
