My Client is a well-established specialist Civil Engineering and Forecourt Construction Contractor delivering projects for some of the UK's leading fuel retailers and commercial clients. They are currently seeking experienced Groundworkers to join their growing team, delivering high-profile petrol forecourt construction and refurbishment projects across the UK.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NATIONWIDE POSITION THAT INVOLVES TRAVEL ACROSS THE UK, INCLUDING OVERNIGHT STAYS WHERE REQUIRED. ALL ACCOMMODATION WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY.
The Role
As an Operative, you will support the delivery of our projects, undertaking a variety of construction and groundwork activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
Duties:
- Kerb laying
- Concrete placing and finishing
- Drainage
- Manhole construction
- Excavation and reinstatement works
- Concrete works, foundations and slabs
- Kerbing, edging and paving
- Ducting and service installations
- Tarmac and external finishing works
- Working safely on operational petrol forecourts in line with strict health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworker within the construction or civil engineering sector
- Experience working on petrol forecourts or similar infrastructure projects is advantageous but not essential
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- CPCS or NPORS plant tickets (advantageous)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel and work nationwide, with overnight stays during the week.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
