We are looking for an experienced National Key Contractors Manager to join a leading construction-focused business. You will be responsible for positioning the company as a preferred supply chain partner to Tier 1 main contractors and fit-out specialists across the UK. This is a national role, working closely with Divisional Managing Directors to secure framework agreements, develop long-term relationships, and support early involvement in key projects.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with main contractors across multiple sectors.
- Secure preferred supplier status and inclusion on national frameworks.
- Support early engagement in prospects and projects with business development teams.
- Gather feedback on pricing and performance from contractors and share with Divisional MDs.
- Arrange meetings, CPDs, and events to strengthen contractor partnerships.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service level agreements with Tier 1 contractors.
- Track record of developing main contractor relationships and securing preferred supplier positions.
- Established network of Tier 1 contractor contacts.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
