Founded in 2013, my Client is an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor delivering integrated MEP solutions across residential, commercial, educational, research and mixed-use developments. Operating across London and East Anglia, the Company provides a complete building services package, covering pre-construction, design and coordination, installation, testing and commissioning, and aftercare.
My Client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team, delivering integrated building services solutions across residential, commercial, education and other sectors.
Working closely with the design and project delivery teams, you will develop practical, cost-effective electrical designs from concept through to detailed design and installation.

Duties:
Key Responsibilities
* Produce electrical building services designs, calculations and technical drawings.
* Design lighting, small power, containment and electrical distribution systems.
* Coordinate designs with mechanical services and other disciplines.
* Ensure designs meet relevant regulations, standards and project specifications.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
* Support value engineering, buildability and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
* Experience in electrical building services design within the construction or M&E sector.
* Knowledge of electrical design calculations, regulations and industry standards.
* Experience using relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech or Dialux.
* Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Salary
The salary on offer for this role is up to £60k +package, dependent upon previous experience.
