We are working with a long-established, award-winning specialist in architectural stonework, delivering high-end projects across the UK and internationally. With over 150 years of heritage combined with modern manufacturing techniques, the business operates at the forefront of precision stone production, blending traditional craftsmanship with advanced CNC technology. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced CNC Machinist to join their skilled production team.

The Role

Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality stone components for bespoke architectural and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set, programme and operate CNC machinery (3/6 axis desirable)
  • Manufacture bespoke stone components to tight tolerances
  • Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and production specifications
  • Carry out tool changes, machine adjustments and basic maintenance
  • Ensure all work meets quality and finish standards expected on high-end projects
  • Work collaboratively with design, production and installation teams
  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures within the workshop

About You

Proven experience operating CNC machinery (stone, wood, or similar materials). Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g. AlphaCAM, Fusion 360) is desirable.
