Contracts Manager – Commercial Drylining & Interior Fit-Out Location: Essex & London Projects Salary: Excellent Salary & Package (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Join a Leading Commercial Interiors Contractor Our client is a well-established specialist commercial interiors contractor with over 40 years of industry experience. They have built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality drylining, suspended ceilings, partitions, SFS, plastering and complete interior fit-out packages for Tier 1 main contractors across East Anglia, London and the South East. Working across Cat A, Cat A+ and Cat B fit-out projects, they deliver schemes within the commercial office, healthcare, education, leisure and other sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in commercial drylining to oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion. The Role: Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing several commercial drylining and interior fit-out projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Managing multiple commercial drylining and interior fit-out projects. * Planning programmes and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors. * Attending site progress meetings with clients and main contractors. * Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors. * Monitoring project costs and commercial performance. * Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with current legislation. * Maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. * Identifying and resolving site issues quickly and efficiently. * Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained. * Supporting successful project delivery from contract award through to final account. About You: To be considered, you should have: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the commercial drylining sector. * Strong knowledge of drylining systems, partitions, suspended ceilings and associated interior packages. * Experience managing projects for Tier 1 main contractors. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability. * Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (preferred). * Full UK driving licence.
