My Client is a highly respected specialist contractor within the petrol forecourts sector, who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team. The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple petrol forecourt construction and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective delivery across all aspects of the contract. The role will involve regular travel to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of petrol forecourt and associated civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to handover.
- Coordinate site operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with petroleum industry regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for forecourt clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
- Provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
- Manage project financials, variations, and reporting, ensuring profitability and commercial control.
- Conduct regular site visits across the UK to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

Requirements
- Extensive experience within a civil engineering contractor (essential).

- Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.
- Full UK driving licence.
