A leading and long-established drylining contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors. Operating for several decades, the business delivers a wide range of packages including drywall systems, suspended ceilings, and lightweight steel framing on major schemes across London and the South East. They are known for working on complex, high-value projects and maintaining long-term relationships with some of the UK’s most respected main contractors and developers.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for drylining and interiors packages, supporting the business in securing new work across a strong pipeline of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Take-off quantities and price drylining packages (partitions, ceilings, SFS, etc.)
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Proven experience as an Estimator within drylining, interiors, or fit-out
- Strong knowledge of drywall systems, ceilings, and associated packages
- Experience pricing projects within commercial and/or residential sectors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
