My client is a privately owned main contractor based in NW London. They traditionally focus on Prime and Super-Prime residential property and hotels, interspersed with mixed-use schemes, commercial, and community buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing construction materials for projects (Drylining, Fixings, Steel, Wood materials, etc.)
- Sourcing relevant services for projects (Concrete, skips, tool, plant & site accommodation hire/purchasing)
- Close communication with site agents & suppliers
- Organized and good bookkeeping such as updating Excel with information
- Knowledge of relevant suppliers, services & materials
- Good knowledge in construction and standard procedures
- Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Bonus:
- Experience in logistics and transport
- Worked for a builders merchant
- Knowledge in M&E materials (plumbing/electrical/AC/ventilation)
