My Client are a leading Contractor in Suffolk, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure works. They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England.

They are seeking a Junior Estimator to join their team in Bury St Edmunds. The candidate should preferably have experience within the Groundworks & Civil Engineering Sector, with 1-2 years experience in a similar role. This position offers strong opportunities for growth and progression within the Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with tender preparation and cost estimates
  • Measuring quantities from drawings and specifications
  • Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Supporting pricing for groundworks, drainage and infrastructure works
  • Maintaining estimating records and databases
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams
  • Supporting timely tender submissions
Requirements
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence

The salary on offer for this role is £30k-£35k+package, depending upon previous experience.
