My client are a Specialist Facade Contractor who also operate as a Principal Contractor, working across cladding, roofing, glazing and insulation. HQ based in SE London.
The Role
My client are looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor, to join the team on a hybrid working basis (x2 from home). Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:
- Manage commercial aspects of cladding and façade projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms and managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Applying technical knowledge of cladding systems and regulatory requirements.
- Adapting commercial strategies to maintain programme and protect margins.
- Negotiate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage project risks, implementing measures to control costs and mitigate potential issues.
