Our client, a renowned regional main contractor, is looking to recruit a Structural Design Engineer to join their in-house technical team. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of construction projects while developing your design capability.
The role will involve:
- Designing temporary and permanent works
- Reviewing and checking third-party structural designs
- Producing 3D structural models (RC and steel frame)
- Providing technical support to site teams and resolving engineering queries
- Attending site visits and design meetings
Requirements:
- Experience designing to British Standards / Eurocodes
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
- Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
