Associate Director – Leading Consultancy – Birmingham/Oxford Company Overview: An industry-leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their team in Birmingham or Oxford. Known for delivering premium-quality commercial fit-out projects across various sectors including corporate, retail, and hospitality, this consultancy is at the forefront of interior design and construction management. With a growing portfolio of prestigious clients and projects, this is an exceptional opportunity to manage exciting, high-end fit-out/refurb/new build projects in a fast-paced environment. The Role: As a Associate Director, you will take charge of delivering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. You will be managing multiple fit-out projects, coordinating between clients, contractors, and designers, while ensuring the smooth delivery of each phase of the project. Key Responsibilities: * Taking a leading role for the day to day delivery provide Project Management duties to corporate clients on a broad range of new build and fit out projects. * Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and regular project updates. * Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and project specifications are fully met. * Manage the procurement of materials and ensure delivery schedules align with project timelines. * Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control. * Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations on-site. * Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, providing regular reports to stakeholders. * Identify and mitigate potential risks to keep projects on track and within budget. Requirements: * Pre and post contract experience managing Fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects across a range of sectors on projects up £25m. * Must have experience of having worked in a Consultancy background in a property or real estate business. * Experience in Associate Director/Senior Project Management role. * A technical understanding and working experience of Agreement for Leases, Purchase Agreements and Development Agreements and negotiations * Experienced in variety of different methods of procurement and forms of construction contract and essentially JCT DB. * Leading on the delivery of developments/refurbishments/fit outs from feasibility, through design and procurement, construction phase to completion. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to build working relationships across in a team environment.
