The Company
Established for over half a century, this main contractor competes and consistently delivers on new build, refurbishment and planned maintenance projects across London and the South East. Widely recognised as an industry leader, this award-winning main contractor can offer vast experience across all sectors of the industry.
This division you will be working within generates £80-90m turnover p/a for this main contractor – and is the largest division in the group.
Projects tendered for are predominantly social housing refurbishment and public sector contracts. Examples of these may potentially involve retrofitting occupied tower blocks or the refurbishment of intensive care units. The value of tenders worked upon ranges from £1m – £9m although can occasionally be larger when working on Framework projects.
This division of this main contractor has a notably low staff turnover rate – which demonstrates employee satisfaction and the opportunities this employer can offer in terms of career advancement opportunities.
The Opportunities
They are currently seeking a Senior Estimator – or an experienced estimator seeking to accelerate their career to this level – to work in their Refurbishment division.
You will report to the Managing Estimator in your division and will be supported by an Assistant Estimator. The team works closely together and are very supportive – leading to an excellent, positive working environment. You will be supported by the wider pre-construction team. There will be opportunities to collaborate with the New Build and Planned Maintenance divisions within the wider company structure.
They are currently seeking an Assistant Estimator to work in their Refurbishment division.
You will report to the Senior Estimator and Managing Estimator who will also support your career development and professional growth.
The team works closely together and are very supportive – leading to an excellent, positive working environment. You will be supported by the wider pre-construction team.
These roles require 5 days in the office. Working hours are 8.30 until 5pm.
