London (remote working with occasional meetings in London)
Β£35-55k + bens. Permanent preferred, open to freelance.
Premises Recruitment is working with a London architectural practice that specialises in prime residential and is looking to add an Architectural Technologist to its team. The work is technical rather than conceptual, and there is a strong workload already under way, with larger projects to follow.
The Company
Our client is a small architectural practice led by two directors, with prime residential as its core workload. The team is supported by a small number of freelance and part time architectural staff. Projects are already under way, and further larger opportunities are in the pipeline.
The Opportunity
The practice is looking for an experienced technical hire who can take on the production side of its projects and become a long term part of the team. You will work closely with the directors on a range of high end residential schemes across London, including Belgravia, Kensington and Islington. Much of this work includes design and build packages for contractors.
The Role
- Produce technical drawing packages, details and plans
- Work primarily at RIBA Stages 4 and 5, with some Stage 3 input
- Turn project information into clear, accurate construction drawings
- Work in AutoCAD
- Support live projects as the workload builds
The Individual
- Background as an Architectural Technologist or technical architect
- Experience producing technical packages through Stages 3 to 5
Salary & Package
Β£30-55k + bens. The practice would ideally like to hire permanently but is open to freelance engagement.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a specialist practice with a steady flow of high quality residential work and larger projects coming through. You will have direct exposure to the directors and the opportunity to become a core member of a growing team.
