About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure sponsorship opportunities across the league. You will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders, negotiation deals, and driving revenue growth.
Kelly Responsibilities:
· Identify and prospect potential sponsors, creating tailored sponsorship packages to meet their business objectives.
· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at brands and agencies.
· Lead & support on sales pitches and presentations, showcase the value of sponsorship opportunities.
· Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
· Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, events, and digital) to create sponsorship opportunities.
· Monitor and manage sales outreach performance, tracking & reporting on pipeline.
· Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and sponsorship best practices.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience in sponsorship, media sales, or business development (2+ years).
· Strong sales acumen and enthusiasm, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage C-Suite executives.
· Strategic thinker, able to craft creative & insights-led sponsorship propositions.
· Self-motivated and target-driven, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
· Experience and ability to develop sales materials, including PowerPoint (or equivalent) design skills.
· Understanding of sponsorship activation and brand marketing strategies.
· Ability to work the occasional weekend to host clients at high profiles sports events
