Role Details
The school is a well-established, co-educational secondary academy in south-west London, serving around 1,450 pupils aged 11–18. It boasts excellent Ofsted ratings, top GCSE and A-level results, and a strong inclusive ethos.
As an English Graduate Unqualified Teacher, you will:
- Plan and teach lessons on a part-time timetable while learning what makes an exceptional teacher
- Work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm during term-time
- Build positive relationships with students
- Assist in lessons to support learning outcomes
- Apply creativity in engaging lessons on reading and writing
- Potential to enter a salaried route into teaching and gain QTS in less than a year
