Yorkshire based Live-in Carer vacancies. Due to clients living in remote locations, we are seeking drivers with their own car.

The Job:

  • Driver with access to own car
  • Self-employed home carer/support worker
  • Live-in with the client in their home
  • Food provided; you cook for the client and yourself
  • Shift patterns vary, with the most common being 7 or 14 on then 7 or 14 days off
  • Building positive relationships with vulnerable adults
  • Enhancing their independence and improving their quality of life

We Can Offer You:

  • £150 to £190 per day (rate varies depending on complexity of the job)
  • Mileage paid at 0.45p per mile
  • Full 24/7 support from our office care coordinator team based in Leyburn

We Are Looking For Someone With:

  • The ability to build positive professional relationships with clients and colleagues in a team
  • A full driving licence and owns or has access to a car for work
  • Consistent, reliable and friendly support with good attention to detail
  • Good judgement and a sense of responsibility, needing limited supervision
  • Good communication skills, good spoken and written English, and likes other people
  • A smartphone and is able to use it to access our care recording app
  • Experience of working with vulnerable older people (Preferred - but if you don’t have experience but you think you would be an amazing carer then we still want to hear from you!)
  • A transferable Enhanced DBS (Preferred - but we can help you get one done)
  • Training in the last 12 months - certificates needed
