We're recruiting a Senior HR Adviser to join a busy and supportive HR team, providing expert advice and guidance to managers across a complex and diverse organisation.
The role requires 2 days onsite in Wolverhampton (Thursday is a mandatory day).

The role offers exposure to a broad range of HR activity, although a significant proportion of the workload will be focused on employee relations and case management.
Description
As a Senior HR Adviser, you'll provide proactive HR support to managers and leaders, helping them navigate complex people issues whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, dignity at work and absence cases.
- Coaching and supporting managers through employee relations matters.
- Supporting organisational change, restructures, consultations and redeployment activity.
- Advising on employment law, policy interpretation and HR best practice.
- Assisting with job evaluation, recruitment and selection activity.
- Working closely with HR Business Partners, trade unions and senior stakeholders to deliver people solutions.

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can confidently manage complex casework and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll have
- Proven employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
- Experience supporting organisational change and consultation processes.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
- Experience operating within a unionised environment would be advantageous.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
