A brand new, permanent position. A specialist private higher education provider is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and grow its UK marketing function! This is a brand new, hands-on role with responsibility for strategy, delivery and people management, working closely with international teams to drive student recruitment and brand visibility.
You will take full ownership of marketing activity across digital channels, content, website and events. You’ll balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution, using data to continually improve performance. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, driving collaboration and a marketing-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive UK marketing strategy aligned with business and growth objectives
- Ensure consistent positioning and messaging across all campaigns and channels
- Collaborate with international colleagues to align campaigns and share best practice
- Line manage the Course Advisor team, setting priorities, KPIs and development plans
- Monitor performance and continuously improve team effectiveness and conversion
Digital Marketing & Performance
- Plan, manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta and LinkedIn
- Lead SEO strategy, content optimisation and performance tracking
- Use analytics and reporting to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities
- Test new channels, tools and approaches to improve reach, engagement and enrolments
Content, Website & Campaigns
- Own the website content and structure using WordPress, ensuring accuracy, clarity and conversion
- Lead content planning in collaboration with internal writers and designers
- Brief creative assets and ensure high-quality output across all marketing materials
- Plan, promote and support webinars and online events, from topic ideation to post-event follow-up
Marketing Operations
- Set up and manage email campaigns, automations and newsletters using CRM tools
- Maintain clear workflows and campaign tracking using project management tools
- Produce regular performance reports for senior stakeholders
- Support wider promotional activity and events as required
About you
- Proven experience in digital and strategic marketing, ideally within education or a regulated environment
- Strong practical experience across paid media, SEO, content, email and analytics
- Confident people manager with experience setting targets and driving performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working with international teams and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of GDPR and compliant marketing practices
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Experience with HubSpot or similar tools
- Familiarity with UK higher education marketing or regulatory guidelines
