Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to recruit a Recruitment Project Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join a globally recognised organisation. Working as part of a collaborative international HR team, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding recruitment best practice across a workforce spanning 26 countries.
This is not a traditional recruitment role. Instead, it offers the opportunity to lead projects focused on recruitment governance, hiring capability, employer branding, candidate experience and recruitment transformation.
The Opportunity
Working closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers and senior stakeholders globally, you will review, enhance and embed recruitment practices across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing recruitment policies, processes and governance frameworks
- Establishing and managing preferred supplier arrangements
- Supporting the organisation's wider recruitment strategy and capability agenda
- Designing and delivering recruitment training for HR colleagues and hiring managers
- Enhancing the MSC employer brand and candidate attraction approach
- Working with Communications teams to develop an engaging and inspiring careers site
- Supporting wider people projects, including pay transparency initiatives
- Improving the adoption and utilisation of recruitment systems and tools
- Driving greater consistency across international recruitment practices
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience developing and improving recruitment policies and processes
- Experience designing and delivering recruitment training programmes
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice and candidate experience
- The ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and functions
- Experience managing recruitment projects or transformation initiatives
- An understanding of employer branding, attraction strategies and recruitment marketing
- The confidence to work independently while building strong relationships across an international organisation
- International experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates from a broad range of sectors will be considered.
