Managing Director opportunity focused on new business, client origination and relationship management with financial sponsor and private equity clients.
The client: Global Corporate Advisor. This global team of industry experts are sought after advisors for a roster of top international PE funds, investors, SWFs, FTSE 100, NASDAQ, blue-chip businesses and respected legal firms. Recognised with numerous industry awards and accolades, the team have been growing market share while guiding their clients through transactions, complex corporate actions and special situations. This could include cutting edge cyber security strategies, insights and intelligence to guide c-suite management on their corporate strategy, political or commercial due diligence to make or break the investment cases of global mergers, buyouts and transactions, highly sensitive crisis situations or resolving complex litigations.

The role: Managing Director, Private Equity & Financial Sponsor Client Coverage. To support strategic growth plans there are opportunities for new business and client origination focused Managing Directors to expand and manage their private equity and financial sponsor client coverage. This role would suit well networked financial advisory professionals (front office investment banking, PE or consulting) who enjoy new client origination and relationship management with sophisticated buyside clients.
The role will take a proactive personal relationship driven approach. Candidates should have demonstrable experience personally originating and managing relationships with PE deal teams through transactions. Candidates need real credibility discussing markets and the global affairs / geo-politics which are shaping deal flow, so advisory backgrounds with experience managing clients through transactions is highly valued.
The team take a very collegiate approach. New Managing Directors will work with the SLT to plan commercial strategy and target different market segments before owning client relationships and managing their continued success introducing additional services, organically growing the account with projects and retainers.
