This role is ideal for an experienced Account Director – trusted by clients, confident setting strategy, and motivated by leading complex programmes, developing people, and shaping the agency’s future.
About the role- Own significant client programmes or entire accounts, acting as the strategic lead.
- Translate client objectives into clear, creative campaign strategy and delivery plans.
- Lead senior client relationships, ensuring consistently high satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee media and analyst relations strategy, supporting teams to land tier-one opportunities.
- Guide and develop Account Managers and Senior Account Managers through formal line management and mentoring.
- Identify and deliver organic growth opportunities across accounts.
- Play a visible role in new business pitches, proposals and agency initiatives.
- Lead on complex issues management and strategic campaign moments when required.
- 4–6+ years’ PR agency experience, ideally within B2B technology communications.
- Proven experience leading accounts and shaping client strategy end to end.
- Strong media and analyst landscape knowledge with established relationships.
- Confident, client-ready writer across short- and long-form content.
- Experienced people manager who enjoys coaching and developing others.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable operating at pace.
- Curious about how technology shapes business, culture and society.
- Big-name clients: Lead programmes for category leaders across AI, fintech, telecoms, cybersecurity and green tech.
