The Opportunity

An award-winning integrated communications agency is looking for a Marketing Executive to join its growing marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop experience across destination marketing, events, communications, travel trade engagement and integrated marketing campaigns.

You'll work across a portfolio of high-profile client accounts, supporting the delivery of training programmes, events, trade engagement initiatives and wider marketing activity.

The role would suit a highly organised, proactive individual who enjoys building relationships, coordinating multiple projects and presenting to audiences.

While experience within travel or tourism would be beneficial, it is not essential.

More important is a genuine interest in the sector, strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with large groups.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with senior members of the team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of integrated marketing and communications activity while developing your expertise within a supportive agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Destination Marketing & Trade Engagement
  • Support the delivery of travel trade engagement programmes across multiple client accounts.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of training initiatives, webinars, workshops and industry presentations.
  • Coordinate consumer and trade communications, including newsletters, updates and campaign materials.
  • Maintain CRM systems and databases, ensuring contact information and reporting remain accurate and up to date.
  • Build relationships with travel trade partners, industry stakeholders and client contacts.
  • Respond to information requests and help distribute relevant destination and campaign updates.
  • Events & Experiences
  • Support the planning and delivery of events, trade shows, sales missions and networking opportunities across the UK and internationally.
  • Coordinate logistics, supplier management, delegate communications and event administration.
  • Assist with the organisation of familiarisation trips and industry experiences.
  • Manage branded merchandise, promotional materials and event assets.
  • Support post-event reporting and campaign evaluation.
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Assist with the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of sectors.
  • Support content creation, copywriting and campaign administration.
  • Contribute to PR and communications activity including media relations, press materials and outreach.
  • Help track budgets, campaign performance and project timelines.
  • Provide general account support across the wider client portfolio.

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have

  • Around 6-12 months' experience within marketing, events, PR, or communications.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence presenting and speaking to groups, whether through training sessions, presentations, events or public-facing roles.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • An interest in travel, tourism and destination marketing.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when required.

Experience using CRM systems, email marketing platforms, event software or marketing tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
