PR Account Manager / Senior Account Manager - B2B - scale-ups

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing independent communications agency that partners with ambitious B2B technology brands, high-growth scale-ups and innovative businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Account Manager looking to step up or a Senior Account Manager seeking greater autonomy, progression and exposure to exciting clients.

The agency is known for delivering high-impact earned media campaigns, strategic communications and thought leadership programmes for some of the most exciting businesses in the technology sector.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of client accounts, building trusted relationships while delivering exceptional media relations, strategic communications and integrated PR campaigns.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in shaping client programmes, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the agency's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of B2B technology clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and execute strategic PR and communications campaigns.
  • Drive proactive media relations, securing high-quality coverage across national, trade and business media.
  • Write compelling press releases, comment pieces, thought leadership articles, award entries and client communications.
  • Identify newsworthy stories and creative campaign opportunities.
  • Support integrated campaigns across earned, owned and social channels where appropriate.
  • Prepare client reports, analyse campaign performance and present results.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to new business proposals, pitches and agency growth initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about technology and enjoys building strong client relationships.

You’ll be proactive, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of your accounts.

You’ll ideally have

  • Agency PR experience, ideally within B2B technology or corporate communications.
  • Strong media relations skills with an established network of journalist contacts
  • Excellent writing skills across a variety of formats.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Confidence presenting ideas and advising senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
  • A genuine interest in the technology, innovation and start-up landscape.
