We have an exciting position for a Logistics Supervisor. This is a permanent position with opportunity for progression for the right candidate. The working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm and 10am to finish - May include some Saturdays during peak periods.
Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety administration, including drivers hours compliance.
- Logistics, including organising all aspects of delivery of goods to customers, and incoming materials, including invoices, documentation, production of quotes, and management of returns.
- Regular reports, including costing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Production of staff rotas.
- Other office and supervisor duties as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills are an absolute necessity for this job.
- Good understanding of Warehouse Operations.
- Good computer literacy skills, including ability to quickly and effectively learn and use new systems. Proficient using Microsoft packages and ERP systems (E.g. Sage).
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy and planning ability are essential.
- Able to identify areas for improvement and find solutions to implement.
- Previous experience working in stock management is essential.
- Previous experience working in Logistics is essential.
