An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Freight Sales and Development Executive to join our clients established business in the Tilbury area. As a Sales and Development Executive you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing new business opportunities, leveraging your own leads and those provided by the Sales and Operations teams.
Other duties include:
- Developing new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, road freight for both imports and exports
- Preparing accurate quotations ensuring the inclusion of all relevant terms and clauses
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in freight sales (sea, air and road) within a freight forwarding environment
- Experience in sales and business development
- Strong attention to detail
- A collaborative and dynamic team spirit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
- Comprehensive knowledge of the global freight industry
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
