Overview

An established manufacturing business is looking for a proactive, hands-on Site Manager to take full responsibility for its Medway facility.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader, receive full specialist training, and build a long-term career with genuine progression into regional management.

Working Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm, with overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the safe, efficient day-to-day operation of the site.
  • Manage and develop day and night shift teams to achieve production targets.
  • Oversee production planning, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
  • Manage stock, customer orders, and site administration.
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and customer service.
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership across all operational areas, including supporting FLT operations when required.
  • What\'s We\'re Looking For
  • 3-5 years\' supervisory or management experience within manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or engineering.
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills.
  • Experience managing production performance and schedules.
  • UK FLT Counterbalance licence B1/B2
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach.

Desirable

  • Engineering or maintenance background.
  • Multi-shift management experience.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS, COSHH, or similar H&S qualifications.
  • Continuous improvement experience.
