Premier Work Support are currently recruiting a permanent SHEQ Manager to work in a permanent role for our client, a specialist manufacturing company, in the Crayford area.
This role will involve implementing, maintaining and improving QMS/EMS, as well as heath and safety function covering all aspects to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Duties will include:
- Leading the company’s QMS, ensuring a culture shift towards continuous improvements
- Aligning H&S requirements towards ISO45001 accreditation
- Conducting system audits in line with ISO14001 requirements
- Ensuring that health and safety is legally compliant and compliant to any insurance policy requirements.
- Leading in-house training with managers and employees
- Establishing and maintaining all documents required in line with ISO14001.
- Ensuring proper investigations are conducted in the event of an incident.
Requirements:
- An accredited qualification in Health and Safety environment with experience related to a manufacturing facility – A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an ISO QMS.
- Ability to manage staff both within the companies defined structure.
- An H&S and environmental field related qualification would be an advantage.
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving and ability to multi-task, make decisions and manage time effectively.
The hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday.
