Job Description Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a temporary Catering Assistant to join one of our clients in Yorkshire area to support the smooth running of catering services on site. You will work as part of a friendly catering team, assisting with food preparation, service, cleaning and general kitchen duties while ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, health & safety and customer service are maintained. As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include: Assisting with the preparation and service of food in line with company recipes and procedures. Ensuring food is prepared, stored and handled in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards. Supporting the team with food delivery and service. Carrying out general cleaning and cleaning of catering equipment as required. Keeping kitchen, catering areas and external access areas clean, tidy and safe. Following all company policies, procedures and relevant health & safety requirements. Is comfortable working in a busy catering environment. Has good personal hygiene and takes pride in their appearance. Is willing to undertake relevant training and develop their skills. Has a good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene. Previous catering or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing a high-quality catering service every day. Shift Details Salary: Β£12.88 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to complete an initial induction and all relevant mandatory training. The commencement of the role is subject to the successful completion and return of a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and Food Hygiene.
