We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Site Operative to join our client's busy site in the Medway Towns. This is a hands-on role involving the safe handling, movement and storage of materials, alongside supporting the day-to-day running of the site. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Job Type: Permanent, full-time The Role As a Site Operative, your duties will include: Loading and unloading deliveries and HGV vehicles. Moving and storing materials safely around the site. Preparing outgoing loads and shipments. Assisting with the loading of tanker barrels. Operating a 3.5-tonne counterbalance forklift to move materials safely around the site. Supporting the operation of site equipment and processing plant. Assisting with the bulking and repackaging of materials. Supporting colleagues with general site operations as required. Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Following all Health and Safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE. Carrying out other duties as directed by your line manager. Requirements We are looking for someone who is: Holds a valid 3.5-tonne Counterbalance Forklift Licence - essential. Reliable, hardworking and punctual. Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on duties. Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions and procedures. A good team player with a flexible approach to work. Willing to learn new skills and undertake training.Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, waste management or industrial environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as training and support will be provided.
