Are you an experienced forklift truck driver looking to expand your skills, take on new responsibilities, and develop your career within a progressive and forward-thinking company? A newly created role has arisen within a long established manufacturing and logistics company for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver/ Administrator to join their busy facility in Medway Towns on a full-time basis. The role is at first on a temporary basis and a permanent opportunity exists for the successful candidate after a qualifying period. Hours of Work are 07.30-16.30, Monday-Friday. This is a varied and rewarding role, combining Forklift driving with general office admin. You will be a point of contact for customers, hauliers, suppliers, and colleagues and you will be assisting in warehousing/ production, administration, purchasing, and stock control. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the processing and management of customer orders accurately. ensuring all details and customer requirements are recorded correctly. Verifying incoming load documentation and updating production progress. Maintaining accurate job files and production and quality records. Ensure goods are correctly labelled and recorded. Assisting in maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stock checks. Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries when needed. Work closely with the Site Manager, production team and warehouse to ensure efficient workflow. Support site compliance by maintaining accurate records for audits and company procedures.About You Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift license with previous experience gained in an industrial environment Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and business systems. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to remain calm under pressure
