Premier Work Support are seeking a temporary Plumber to join one of our client's friendly, professional team in the Rochdale area. You will work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, plus participation in an on-call rota. Travel time is not included in core hours. In this rewarding role, you'll help maintain safe, clean, and efficient environments for all Service Users – always working in line with our clients' standards. Working across different sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver repairs and work instructions within your certified skill set
- Carry out minor repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, e-glazing, unblocking sinks, changing locks, replacing bulbs, easing doors, and replacing tap washers – safely and efficiently
- Complete planned preventative maintenance using a handheld PDA where required
- Maintain vehicles, workshops, and work areas in a safe, tidy condition
- Identify and report areas requiring repair or improvement
- Supervise subcontractors when necessary
- Complete permits, timesheets, stock checks, and minor admin tasks accurately
- Deliver consistently high-quality service and liaise with Service Users to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call duty rota
