A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Recycling Production Operative & Forklift Driver for an immediate start initially on a temporary basis to join their recycling team. The company is based in outer Medway/Maidstone. There is an opportunity for a permanent role after a qualifying period. You will have an externally accredited B1 counterbalance licence.
Duties will include:
- Manual handling, sorting waste products from mixed wood based products and removing contaminated waste before it is processed.
- Forklift driving.
- Machine operation, using the bailing machine and general housekeeping duties, sweeping and cleaning.
- No heavy lifting is involved however due to the process recycling involved on site, the environment can be dirty and dusty.
Working hours:
- Week 1 - 06:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
- Week 2 - 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
- Week 3 - 11:00 to 20:30, Monday to Friday.
All hours worked above your shift are also paid at time and a half and overtime is available. There is also overtime available Monday to Friday if you work above your shifted hours. This is a temporary position, however there are opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidate after a qualifying period.
